Hurtling Through Space at an Alarming Rate is a sci-fi comedy series with an absurdist, Douglas Adams-esque twist, that follows the adventures of two hapless roommates (Mike and Steve) who are apparently trapped in their apartment as it’s literally hurtling through space at an alarming rate! The weird thing is everything works – the power is still on, they have Internet access, and all the comforts of home including running water and phones are a-okay. But really that’s not even the weird thing. For some reason the guys are on a mission, they don’t actually know what that mission is but they’re on it. Each episode finds the boys in crazy predicaments, traveling to absurd and wondrous planets - alien worlds inhabited by meddlesome and slightly annoying creatures. Their only means of defense: “branded” household items.
